After getting the all day Trimper bands that allow you to ride all their rides from sun up to sunset, we hit the amusement ride area ready to conquer all that we could...even the adults! Then after a fun filled afternoon, we wanted to relax and have some dinner, but Mother Nature was not allowing any of that...the announcement came to evacuate Ocean City NOW...no rest for the weary. After packing up, we headed out in a caravan style and hit the road with thousands of others to get out of OC and back to our homes and prepare for Irene to hit in a day or 2!!! I need a vacation from this vacation and my grandsons have learned to expect always with their grandmother the "unexpected".
Ah yes, running from hurricanes. Well at least the boys will always remember that trips with grandma are never boring. LOL!
ReplyDeleteRob and I spent Sunday at his Mother's home. With no electricity in our own house it seemed the sensible thing to do. The poor woman had a full house as two of her friends were visiting (also Ocean City evacuees). We had a good time eating spaghetti and playing cards.
That is all I have for now (I truly live a boring life). I hope your MRI goes well.
